Around 10pm last night the Russian military struck the Korabelny district of Kherson, injuring a 43-year-old woman who was in the house at the time of the attack.
The victim was hospitalised in a moderate condition, having suffered a concussion, an explosive and closed head injury, shrapnel wounds to the face, hands and legs, along with a burn to her shin.
As a result of the attack in the Shipbuilding District, the roof of the apartment was damaged, along with the roof and windows, while furniture had been destroyed.
Nineteen populated areas in the Kherson region were under attack yesterday, as Russia targeted critical and social infrastructure along with residential quarters.
According to the preliminary information provided by the Head of the Kherson Regional Administration Alexander Prokudin, the shelling resulted in damage to a multi-story building, 11 private residential buildings and a passenger car, noting that the only casualty was the victim who was receiving all necessary medical assistance.
