Russia attacked 22 populated areas of the Kherson region over the past day, reported Head of the Regional State Administration Oleksandr Prokudin, noting that five people were injured.
Damage was caused to seven multistory buildings, 11 private houses, a private enterprise, a minibus and nearby cars, added Prokudin.
Russia launched several powerful strikes on the Central District of Kherson at around 4am, with one of the shells hitting the road service.
According to the Head of the Regional City Administration Yaroslav Shanko, the explosive waves damaged buildings, but there was no information about casualties.
