➡️ AFU Operational update as of 08:00am on August 27
🔹 Day 1646 of the war in Ukraine is continuing, with 229 combat clashes reported in the previous 24 hours.
🔹 The AFU said this included 88 airstrikes, dropping 294 guided aerial bombs, using 11,150 kamikaze drones of various types, and carried out 3,288 attacks on populated areas and positions of troops, 47 of which involved multiple launch rocket systems.
🔹 Over the past day, the aviation, rocket forces, and artillery of the Defence Forces struck nine command posts, seven areas of concentration of Russian personnel, three artillery systems, 10 command posts for UAVs, and three other ‘important objects.’
🔹 During the past day, the losses of the Russians amounted to 1400 people, according to the AFU, who said they also destroyed or damaged four tanks, seven armoured combat vehicles, 53 artillery systems, two air defence systems, 17 ground robotic complexes, 1792 unmanned aerial vehicles, 494 vehicles, and 10 units of special equipment.
➡️ AFU defences claimed 233 targets were destroyed or suppressed overnight from 18:00pm on August 26 to 9am on August 27, noting that the main targets overnight were in Odesa, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia.
🔹 The preliminary data claimed to have destroyed or suppressed one Onyx anti-ship missile, 7 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles, 3 S8000 ‘Banderol,’ and 222 Shahed-type drones, including Gerber and others, from the south, north, east, and centre of the country.
🔹 Hits were recorded in 15 locations and debris from downed objects fell in 11 locations, while some strike assets failed to reach their targets, so information about them was still being clarified.

🔹 Russia struck Kryvyi Rih with missiles, causing injuries to two men and damage to a business.
🔹 Attacks were also recorded on the Nikopol and Marganets communities with drones, UAVs, and artillery, damaging a business, and a recreation complex was damaged in the evening attacks.

🔹 OVA Ivan Fedorov said that Russia had launched 738 attacks on 56 populated areas of the Zaporizhzhia region, including 6 missiles launched at Zaporizhzhia.
🔹 Russian forces carried out 17 airstrikes on villages and towns, along with 482 UAVs of various modifications, 5 attacks with rocket artillery strikes, and 228 artillery strikes, which caused 110 reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles and infrastructure.

🔹 Last night, Russia targeted the industrial facilities in Kremenchuk, according to the OVA, stating that one of the energy facilities in thy Myrhorod district was also hit, causing an emergency power outage, noting that consumers in 7 settlements temporarily lost electricity.
🔹 All services are working to eliminate the consequences of the attack, and no information about injuries had been received by the emergency services.

🔹 Russia targeted several locations in Odesa, causing fires to break out, while damage was reported to the façade, roof and windows of a 16-story building, a school building, a private house with a garage, and multiple vehicles, as fires engulfed outbuildings, a garage, and dry grass, but fortunately there were no casualties.

🔹 Cherkasy OVA reported that defenders had been repelling attacks in the air overnight, claiming to have shot down four Russian drones, but there were no reports of injuries or infrastructure damage.

🔹 OVA Oleksandr Produkin said that Russia had targeted 33 communities in the Kherson region and Kherson city itself, targeting critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas in the region, injuring 18 people including one child.
🔹 Damage was caused to 3 apartment buildings, 5 private houses, administrative buildings, a mobile phone tower, an outbuilding, agricultural machinery, and private vehicles.

🔹 Vitaliy Klitschko, Kyiv’s OVA, said that as a result of the Russian attack on the capital, a building in the Shevchenkivskyi district, belonging to one of the gymnasiums, was significantly damaged, while the explosion also shattered windows in a municipal medical facility.
🔹 In the Podilskyi district, debris fell in the courtyard between residential buildings, but there were no reported casualties.

🔹 Russia inflicted the most damage on the Romensk community, damaging residential areas and civilian infrastructure, killing one person and injuring four others.
🔹 Ukraine’s rescuers worked to extinguish fires in three different locations, including private homes and buildings used for agricultural purposes.

🔹 Chernihiv’s OVA said that Russia struck the region with a drone yesterday afternoo0n, injuring four civilians, noting that a man and a woman were treated at the scene, while two other men were taken to hospital, and added that a warehouse building and a truck was damaged.
🔹 In the Snovsk community, Russia struck a church with a Molniya drone, which burned the building down, while in a nearby village, an attack was recorded on a building belonging to a non-operational enterprise.
🔹 A drone caused a fire in a forest clearing in the Koryukivka community which was extinguished by emergency services, while strikes were also recorded on regional critical infrastructure.
