5 civilians injured and damage to multiple communities in Kharkiv by Russian forces

Kharkiv City Mayor Igor Terekhov reported yesterday that two drones fell in the Nemyshlyansky direct of Kharkiv near private houses, but no reports of serious damage or casualties were reported.

Head of the Zolochiv community Viktor Kovalenko stated that a Geran-type drone struck around 11:05 yesterday morning, impacting the building of a former children’s home damaging the windows and roof.

Girls aged seven and 13, as well as a 33-year-old woman were injured in the village of Novoosinovo in the Kurilivska community as a result of an airstrike on February 22, reported Head of the State Administration Oleg Sinegubov, noting that the issue of evacuation was being resolved.

Kharkiv police added that the boy, girl and their mother were pulled from the rubble following an attack which resulted in a hit on a residential family where a large family lived – a 59-year-old woman and her 30-year-old son were killed.

Although the mother of the family is in a serious condition, and the other two children are also injured, evacuation of them has been made difficult due to worsening weather conditions where the family live along with the dangers posed by Russian FPV drones.

At around 05:50 this morning on the Kharkiv-Kyiv highway between Valki and Mandrychyn, Russians hit with a Geran-2 type drone which damaged parked trucks, reported Sinegubov, noting that a 42-year-old driver of one vehicle was injured, and another driver were unconscious, so both were hospitalised.

Sinegubov reported that a total of five people were injured in Kharkiv this morning, including a 55-year-old and an 80-year-old man along with a 70-year-old woman, who were injured as a result of Russian strikes.

According to Sinegubov,  a KAB fell on a house in Husinka in the Kindrashivska community, injuring 40-year-old and 50-year-old men, and medics also provided assistance to a 73-year-old man who was injured on February 2 in Osinov in the Kupiansk community.

Damage was caused to a civilian building in Zolochiv and two cars in Mironovka in the Bogudukhiv district, a minibus in Veliki Khutory and a car in Prilokotny in the Kupiansk district, as well as five private buildings in Oskol in the Izium district, reported Sinegubov.

Russia used a double strike to attack the energy system in the Valkivska community this morning, reported Sinegubov, adding that there were no injuries among the power workers and rescuers as a result of the second tap.

Rescuers reported that a drone strike was recorded on the residential sector of Pechensk, causing a fire to break out in a private house, but firemen extinguished the blaze, and there were no injuries.
