More Than 700 Strikes In Zaporizhzhia On October 26

One person was injured, and another died after being admitted to hospital, following a Russian attack on the Huliaipil community on October 26.

Russia launched at least 5 drone strikes on the Zaporizhzhia district at 20:40, resulting in more than 1700 subscribers without power, and workers were ready to begin restorations the moment the situation allowed.

Damage was reported to a sports facility where the gym of the youth sports school caught fire, while three residential buildings damaged by fires breaking out at another address, and firefighters extinguished all fires.

In addition to the Zaporizhzhia district, 6 other settlements of 762 subscribers were de-energised for the safety of the people throughout the strikes, ready to be reconnected the moment the security situation allowed.

Russia launched 701 strikes on 24 settlements of the region, including 16 airstrikes, 460 UAVs of various types, 7 MLRS shellings and 218 artillery strikes that resulted in 20 reports of damage to housing, vehicles, and infrastructure facilities.
