Partial Power Cuts In Kursk Region After Ukrainian Attack

Last night there were around 16,000 subscribers left without electricity in the Kursk region due to an attack by Ukrainian UAVs, as reported by Alexander Khinstein, who then failed to report the number of takedowns to the MoD this morning.

Subscribers in the Glushkovsky, Rylsky, and Korenevsky districts were left without electricity, but Rylsk had already been reconnected to backup sources shortly after the attack, according to the Governor, adding that the consequences were being clarified, while an engineering and sapper survey of the territories would be conducted in the morning.

Energy workers continued to fix the malfunctions as soon as possible, and Khinsthein was keeping the situation under personal control, not specifying what facilities were targeted, how many were attacked, how many were successfully hit, or what damage was caused as a result of “downed debris.”
